Kacema Musuma Community School
Kacema Musuma is a school in an extremely poor area of Zambia. It is mostly run by the sisters of St. John the
Baptist and serves over 566 students! Over half of these students are orphaned, and all of them suffer from poor
nutrition, have little clothes, and face a very grim future. When I visited there, the children gathered in an
area where they shared meager helpings from a large pot of porridge. The school does this because many children
do not eat at home or don't have a home. Unfortunately, they can only afford to do this about three times a week.
Besides the food situation, this school needs just about everything you can think of. Its run down facilities have
very few amenities and almost no books or school supplies. They receive little to no donations from anyone. I hope
to provide these children with new clothes, money for food, and basic school supplies and books.

The Plan:
- Collect money for food
- Clothing and shoes
- Books
- Basic school supplies
- Repair the community well
The Well
Below you will find pictures of the well at Kacema Musuma as it is today. As you can see, it needs a great
deal of work. Please help us make it happen.
